The goal of our Children’s Ministries is to provide children with a foundational knowledge of the Bible and of their own faith that can launch them into a lifelong journey with God.
We value children as an integral part of the Heritage Community, we believe that children are gift from God and it is the responsibility of the church to provide a community that: builds into families, nurtures and supports their spiritual formation, presents biblical teaching in an engaging and age-appropriate manner, and provides a launching pad for journeying with God and loving their community.
Dr. Henry has extended the current Health order until further notice. Under the Health Order regarding structured extracurricular activities and programs for people 19 years of age and younger. Our Nursery is available during the morning worship service for ages newborn to two years old. We have wonderful volunteers eager to care for our little ones. There are generally two adult workers and one or two junior helpers on hand every Sunday. We also have a private, quiet room to put your little one to sleep or accommodate nursing mothers.
We are currently meeting online Sunday mornings
Parents of children ages 2 through Grade 5 sign their children in at the KidZone table in the lobby prior to the service. They are then dismissed 10-15 minutes into the worship service. Each child ages 2 through 5 receives a name tag and the parents receive a numbered tag as per our Plan to Protect policy. The parent tag is required in order to pick up your child at the end of the service.
For the Month of March, we are reformatting our program to meet the current BC Health Order.
