On Thursday night before Good Friday, Jesus gathered with his disciples to celebrate Passover. With unleavened bread, wine, bitter herbs, roast lamb, scripture and prayers, they remembered the great deliverance God worked for the People of Israel when he miraculously rescued them, centuries before, out of slavery in Egypt. That Thursday night celebration was timely – Passover is a picture of the very rescue Jesus would work on the cross. It even contains hints of the resurrection.

What if we joined that remembrance together?

This year, in individual homes*, we invite you to take part in Passover. You provide the meal** and we’ll provide the “Kit” with everything you need for your Passover remembrance. You’ll get Matzo (unleavened bread), herbs, horseradish, “charoset”, “Haggadah” (Order of Service with scripture and prayers) and instructions on how to walk through it all.

*You can do this round the table with your own household, or linked together with others using an online platform such as Zoom, Facetime, Skype, Google Hangouts.

**The meal doesn’t have to be roast lamb, it can be chicken, spaghetti, tofu or whatever you choose.

Celebrate with Jesus and the disciples in preparation for the cross and the empty grave.
