Small Groups

Cropped smallgroup logo

At Heritage, the place to really connect with the life of the church is in one of the many Small Groups that meet during the week, in people’s homes.  Small Groups meet at many different times and in many different parts of Abbotsford.  Some meet before work, some mid-day, some in the evening.  Some are for women or men only, some are age-specific, and some include a full range of diversity. Our Small Groups are based on the  “3 L’s” values (see below), and they are modelled after Jesus, who was the ideal small group leader, with his twelve disciples.  For more information on the Small Group that is right for you, please contact Todd Brown at todd@heritagealliance.ca.

Please do not hesitate to call the office if you do not see the study you require on the website.

Small Group Values

Loving Community (acceptance)

John 17:22b-23 “May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” NIV

Life Change (transformation into the DNA of Jesus)

Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” NASV

Looking Outward (mission)

Luke 10:1-3  “After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. 2He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. 3Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.”  NIV There’s a group for everyone. If you would like to get connected with a Small Group, or start a new group yourself, contact the church office.
