Adults

the gathering (20s-30s)

Whether you are a recent high school graduate, attending university, building your career, or raising children, the gathering welcomes you. We are comprised of an increasing number of small groups that gather together as a large group several times a year to have fun and meet with others.

ConneXions (40s-50s)

Known for their outlandishly fun events and inclusive nature, ConneXions events are a highlight on the social calendar. These events are a great way to connect with others at Heritage.

PrimeTimers (60+/-)

This adult fellowship group holds events on the third Friday of each month. From September to May this group meets for coffee (10 am) at Garden Park Tower Coffee Shop. If you are in the prime of your life and looking for a group to meet with, review the Sunday morning bulletin for the next event.

Women’s Ministries

Our main monthly meetings are planned usually for the first Monday of the month. We gather for a time of worship and encouragement through a spiritually uplifting presentation by ladies from our own group and, of course, enjoy great fellowship over coffee and tasty treats! For a fuller listing of other events, follow this link to the Women’s Ministries page.

Men’s Ministries

A group of  men meet regularly each Thursday morning for a time of sharing and prayer. Other fun and/or serving opportunity activities are planned throughout the year to draw the men of our church together. For a fuller listing of other events, follow this link to the Men’s Ministries page.

Adult Choir

If you enjoy singing and would like to be part of our choir, join us each Wednesday evening 7-8:30pm as we practice. Our choir sings on Sundays and also prepares for special musical presentation at Christmas and Easter.

Small Groups

At Heritage, the place to really connect with the life of the church is in one of the many Small Groups that meet each week. Small Groups (ranging in size from 4- 20), meet at many different times and in many different parts of Abbotsford. Some meet before work, some mid-day, some in the evening. Some are for women or men only, some are age-specific, and some include a full range of diversity. For more information follow this link to our Small Groups page.

Alpha

Alpha is a 10-week course for anyone interested in investigating the basics of Christianity. The course is relaxed and informal, and always involves great food! Each week there is the opportunity for small group discussion after watching an entertaining and informative video on some aspect of the Christian faith. For more information follow this link to our Alpha page).
